Job description

Launchcodex helps ambitious brands grow with smarter systems, scalable marketing, and innovative technology. As an AI automation engineer, you will own the design and implementation of secure, observable automations that connect CRMs, ad platforms, data stores, and internal tools. You will build in n8n and code where needed in Python or Node, package reusable modules, and partner with strategy and account teams to turn manual workflows into durable products.

Job responsibilites

- Design, build, and maintain n8n workflows for internal and client use cases - Develop API services and integrations in Python or Node, including authentication and rate limiting - Implement data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and sync across tools like HubSpot, GA4, BigQuery, and Slack - Add monitoring, logging, and alerting. Keep workflows observable and easy to debug - Write unit and integration tests. Set up CI to validate flows before deployment - Containerize services with Docker and manage deployments to cloud environments - Document runbooks, architecture diagrams, and usage guides for non technical teams - Partner with account and strategy to scope automation opportunities and estimate impact - Maintain security, secrets management, and least privilege access - Contribute to internal SDKs and templates to speed up future builds

Job requirements

- 4 to 7 years in backend or automation engineering - Hands on with n8n or similar orchestration tool - Strong Python or Node skills, with experience building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs - Proficient with relational databases and SQL, for example Postgres or MySQL - Experience with CI, containers, and basic cloud services on AWS or GCP - Familiar with authentication, OAuth, webhooks, and queue based architectures - Comfortable with observability tools and writing tests - Clear communication and the ability to turn ambiguous workflows into shippable specs - Authorized to work in the United States
